Volunteering is truly the gift of giving! Now’s your chance to make a difference.
The Foundation for End-of-Life Care, a non-profit organization that supports hospice patients and families with special needs, is currently seeking administrative volunteers. Schedules are flexible—whether it’s on a regular or as-needed basis.
Any volunteer help is greatly appreciated. When contemplating your decision, consider the following
reasons for volunteering your services: |
|
- It provides a way to be useful, help others and perform good deeds.
- The work is enjoyable and makes you feel needed.
- Volunteerism is good for the heart. It increases your self-esteem and competence, while it lessens stress and depression.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact the Foundation at

Arthur A.
Arthur, a Foundation for End-of-Life Care volunteer in Pennsylvania, completed the challenging Philadelphia Marathon (26.2 miles) in memory of Rosalie, a hospice patient and dear friend of his. Arthur raised more than $3,000 to participate in the race, which he later donated to the Foundation. “Hospice took wonderful care of Rosalie, and I wanted to recognize that,” said Arthur. “With this contribution we can help support research and comfort other patients.” |
